The unchallenged Resolve

All people who worked hard, bore burden, lived mediocre, and stayed steadfast to their message; were inflicted with tests. In times of low, when it feels that work is not bearing fruit or people are not attracted to the message — the Great among us decide to stick to their promises and commitments. And mostly, when they manage to walk the misery lane with confidence, they win.

Yousaf (as), at 18 years old, survived the murder attempt by his brothers, waited 3 days inside a well for help, was taken to Egypt by strangers and made servant to a Nobel's house for 2 years. Stayed imprisoned for 7 years for he could not compromise on his values. And at his 30 years of age, he was given the financial control of Egypt.

Muhammad (PBUH) at 40 years was isolated due to his stubbornness. For 12 years, he was inflicted tragedies. [At this point Surah Yosaf was revealed]. Migrated to Medina. And after 23 years — he conquered Mecca.

It is a sudden stick. The graph of hard work looks something like above picture. While you are working hard — you do not find any results and you feel you are going wrong. There is only a bleak light asking you to trust yourself and keep moving. Like a stone cutter, who strikes 1000 times that doesn't give him any crack. Who believes - soon the stone is going to cut wide open. Great people, who walk with unchallenged resolve — keep their streaks alive. They keep hammering their message on the stone. Until, bam, the stone sits broke and the message reaches its home.

Greatness demands consistent efforts, done repeatedly, irrespective of how weird or boring they look.
