The Drought

When the king of Egypt saw a dream, "7 x healthy cows eat away the 7 x week cows". He called his people for its interpretation. People gathered, told him, "it is just a random dream; without a meaning". That we can stop thinking about it and carry on with our works. The soldier, who had met Yousaf (as) in prison and got the release recalled the promise he had made to Yousaf (as). He stood up, asked the king for a brief period until he could bring back the interpretation.

Yousaf (as) interpreted the dream, asked to store enough food for 7 x years of drought that you do not die of hunger. And after you survive the period — you will be blessed with significant rain, and production. That you may forget you faced these long hardships of drought.

Similarly, we the people of Allah (swt) have no option but to lower our heads, show patience while the drought is eating us, and wait until the rain sheds our bad memories away.
