Life, and bumps !

Life is a bumpy road. It is never a constant. Never does it go, like we see it today. It takes time to realise, there are going to come bumps, it is going to hit us hard. We need to pack our luggage for the rough ride ahead. While things are still intact, relationships are still strong, buddies are still near us, a shelter is in place, we prepare ourselves for days when it rains hard. This phase is called, the pre-departure phase. Here, all things seem easy and exciting.

Next in our life, the ride starts. We mount our luggage behind us, and take the flight. Here, it seems exciting, the first day or two. In the beginning, it seems it was not that hard. Here, we let loose some of our belts, make some mistakes, feel casual and drift into the lazy zone. This phase, is called, underestimating the ride. We are still moving forward, but the under-(bad)-estimation of the journey, weakens our guts. We are confident, rude, and arrogant. But unknowingly, we are taking chaotic decisions.

It all hits us hard. We fall hard. Our bad decisions on the road, drops us to our knees. We feel destroyed. All that excitement, that happened when we started planning, talking arrogant, and telling people they are wrong and we are right. — goes into drain. Here, this phase is called, the realisation phase. Now, the right thing if done consciously, is going to pay us more dividends. Here, we are going to realise, we had to stay conscious during the first 2 phases of our life. We should have not planned much longer, and should have acted. No matter how much planning we put in to taking the ride, it is going to hit us hard. We should not have acted arrogant, after the ride had begun, because it is like loosening our buckles and belts. It only speeds the process of falling down. And when the hit happened, we should not have felt that low / discouraged. Because, falls and pits are part of life, these are going to happen no matter what we do. Wise is, we keep moving forward. We keep doing the rights, we do everyday. We keep showing up. We keep smiling. We keep believing, the next fall we learn more and buckle ourselves even better.
