Battle of Motah and Tabook

— After Battle of Motah, Roman empire weakened in strength. With muslims limited to only 3000 - 3500 defeating an army of 1 lac Romans, the enemy had lost the momentum. They could not face muslims any more.

Therefore, when muslims marched for the decisive battle of Tabook, Romans did not dare to show up for the fight. Instead they left the area and it became quite easier for Prophet PBUH to convince the tribes in the vicinity of the battle ground to convert to Islam. Islam therefore had spread its political control over the farthest regions of Arab.

Tabook also proved decisive because, it separated muslims from the hypocrites. Only muslims decided to fund the battle and March the long toiling journey to the battle ground. Whereas, people who did not have trust in Allah, could not leave their homes and were left behind. It was given a lot of appreciation by Prophet PBUH as it strengthened the muslims' position in the region. United, victorious, and vast control gave muslims all keys to continuing their fight on to Mecca and win it in 8th Hijri.
